Dream Bar/Slice 
This is such a super easy recipe to just whip up when one is either expecting guests or you are just feeling like baking something. Plus it is super tasty and doesn’t require that many ingredients, it all makes for a perfect recipe!
Ingredients:
1 cup of plain flour 
1 tablespoon of brown sugar 
125 grams of butter
1 and a half cups of brown sugar 
1/2 teaspoons of vanilla essence 
1 cup of dessicated coconut 
1/2 teaspoons of baking powder 
2 eggs
Method 

Blend the flour with the butter and the 1 tablespoon of brown sugar.
Pack this mixture firmly into a greased 8” square pan (any square pan is fine)
Bake in a moderate oven (180°C, I put it on 160°C as it is a fan forced oven) for 15 minutes 
Beat the eggs thoroughly, add the remaining brown sugar, vanilla essence, dessicated coconut , baking powder and mix well.
Spread evenly over the the baked biscuit crust 
Return to the oven and bake for a further 30 minutes or until the mixture is no longer moving in the pan (it is normal when you do the knife test to see if it is cooked that it comes out a bit runny, this is fine it is a very wet mixture)
You can eat it warm or let it cool and then cut into a desirable portion for you!
